I read my first personal development book at the tender age of 19, so 26 years ago now, cripes how times fly when you’re having fun!

Things changed for me when I decided to become independant and self sufficient, not meaning that I wanted to be by myself, just that I didn’t want to be in the vulnerable position of HAVING to rely on another living soul, or government or relative.

Once that decsion was made, the rest fell into place, which doesn’t mean it was easy, it means that I was responsible for me…my failures and my successes.

When we decide that our lives are in our hands and we will live or die by our decisions THAT’S when things change for the better.

Not sure what relevance this has but seeing as you’ve asked, Neil and I have been married for 3 years and 1 month.

Neil is the author of RichMatePoorMate and yes it was him who lost the contract and my contract was also pulled four weeks later – we are no longer relying on contract work for our income, although I know Neil is about to post more news so I won’t steal his thunder!
