I have always maintained that being rich is not about how much money you have or how many possessions you own.

Being rich is about how happy you are with your CURRENT lifestyle.  I stress the word current because it is easy to get despondant with what we already have.  Being truly rich is – for me at least – about satisfaction.

I may not have achieved everything I’ve ever wanted to…yet,  I may not be experiencing all that I’d imagined my life to be…yet and I AM extremely happy with where I’m at and what I have, right now.

We can dream about the …………………… (fill in the blank) and think if only I had that…. I can tell you from personal experience “it ain’t all that!”  In fact “it ain’t nothin at all”

I used to think, when I was just 30 years old that if I died right there and then I’d be blissfully satisfied with the life I had already lived.  I had achieved so much and had so much to be thank ful for.   Since then I’ve experienced so much more, my life has been enriched, and I’ve also lived through devastating challenges!  My personality has been moulded by all of it.  I am today what those experiences have shaped me into.  I have also learned through the power of NLP that the map isn’t the territory and I can change some of my responses that aren’t particularly useful to me, whilst increasing the power of the ones that are.  Awesome!

I love my life and I do consider myself a Rich Woman.

So the Women’s Wealth Network didn’t turn out the way I imagined it would.  There are many reasons for that and I’m grateful to all those women who took part in the market research that proved what would and what would not be successful.  The bottom line is that the two days I held in Birmingham and Harrogate were for some delegates life changing.
